CERTIFICATE OF WELDING COMPETENCY
Welding competency is obtained after successfully passing exams and is certified with a document titled "Certificate of Welding Competency" - a sample issued by the Ministry of Education and Science. The welding competency certificate grants the right to perform welding activities.
ESSENCE OF THE COURSES
The training is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical, and concludes with exams in accordance with Article 34 of the ZPAO.
Welding Processes:
- Process 111 - Manual arc welding with coated electrodes (MMA);
- Process 131 – Gas metal arc welding with a consumable electrode (MIG);
- Process 135 – Gas metal arc welding with a consumable electrode in active gas (MAG);
- Process 141 – Tungsten inert gas welding with a non-consumable tungsten electrode (TIG);
- Process 311 – Gas-oxygen welding (OAW);
- Process 81 – Gas-oxygen cutting (OAC);
- Process 912 – Soldering;
- Process 121 – Submerged arc welding.

- Welder for pipes
Training for obtaining welding qualifications is carried out according to curricula and programs developed in accordance with the state educational requirements for qualification in the profession of “Welder.”
FORM OF CONDUCTING THE COURSES
- In-person – theoretical and practical parts;
- Group or individual;
- Courses are planned with partial detachment of trainees from production duties and a pre-agreed schedule, taking into account available time;
- Corporate training – based on a developed curriculum tailored to the specific needs of the organization (activity specifics, equipment, materials);
- Location – Neksas Academy.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COURSES
- Minimum educational level – sixth grade;
- Minimum age – 16 years;
- Health condition – absence of medical contraindications for training and practicing the profession of “Welder.”
Required documents for enrollment in a course for part of the profession “Welder”:
- Application for inclusion in professional training for a part of the profession;
- Copy of a document proving the minimum entry educational level;
- Medical document certifying the candidate’s health condition;
- Declaration of consent for processing personal data for the purposes of professional training;
- Actual photo, passport size – 2 pcs.
ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR CANDIDATES
- After training for a qualification level, it is possible to obtain the next level in accordance with Article 4, Paragraphs 1 and 3 of Regulation No. 7 on the Conditions and Procedure for Obtaining Welding Qualification;
- Opportunity to obtain a certification for approving welding personnel. The certification is acquired after passing an exam before an independent certifying body for welding personnel, accredited in accordance with BS EN 17024 - 2012 by the Executive Agency “Bulgarian Accreditation Service” (BAS).
